Gogglebox: Melbourne dads Wayne and Tom tell it like we all wish we could.

8.30pm, Ten

Riding on the success of its third Logie, this reliable reality favourite returns with more television critique that only the average Australian viewer can give. Except that these couch potatoes are anything but average. They might represent a cross-section of telly watchers, but they're all interesting and unique, with plenty to say. Take Melbourne dads Wayne and Tom (pictured), who so often tell it like we all wish we could.

LOCH NESS

Series premiere ★★★★½

8.50pm, ABC

The sweeping shots of the Scottish highlands are more than a visual feast. They adequately set the scene for the deliciously slow untangling of a small town's unsavoury secrets. SPOOKERS

Series premiere ★★★½

8.30pm, SBS Viceland

At first, it seems little more than a curious freak show. Actors in ghoulish costumes are interviewed about their day jobs as pastry chefs or flight attendants. But what emerges are stories that mirror the sufferings of the hospital's former patients, evocatively illustrated by dreamlike sequences.
