Season 16 is well underway and the competition is heating up not just between the contestants, but the coaches. Kelly Clarkson revealed that she wants to make another bet for if she wins with another coach. Find out what the bet is and more.

Clarkson joined the show in Season 14. She won that season with contestant Cassadee Pope. The coach returned for Season 15 and won again with Brynn Cartelli.
She certainly is a coach to watch because of that in Season 16, and probably isn’t that worried about going up against Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, and John Legend. The singer has always been confident and was brave enough to make a public bet in her very first season.

Shelton has the most wins on the show with six wins. Clarkson was still willing to make a bet as a newcomer for Season 14.
“We made a bet. He has to call me Queen Kelly Clarkson,” she revealed to 102.7KIISFM. “Like, ‘Yes, queen. No, queen.’” If she lost, she would have to shut up for five minutes.
She made the right decision because she won. The winning coach gave an update after the season and Shelton didn’t call her by her title right away.
“Don’t think I’m not waiting,” she said in May. “I haven’t checked my phone but I’m a hold him to it.” The singer said he had until next season to follow through, but she was losing hope.

It turns out Shelton also called her the title in person that night. “He didn’t [honor the bet] forever,” Clarkson revealed on the Today show “and then finally, I guess I had to go sing at his bar to get him to say it, [but] he introduced me that way [as Queen Kelly Clarkson] at his bar. I loved every minute… ’cause he hated it!”

Clarkson thinks her team is good enough to win a third time in a row. “I do think my team is really talented, yes,” she told Jimmy Fallon. She added that she always aims to win, “I love competition.”

Chrissy Teigen came out with her own cookbook so she knows her way around a kitchen. This season, Clarkson make a bet which involves her cooking.
“John isn’t aware of this bet yet,” she said. “But if I win, Chrissy makes me a meal, and if he wins, they just still invite me over so that I get to eat Chrissy’s food.”
It sounds like Clarkson will come out winning no matter what, but perhaps Teigen and Legend will agree to the conditions. Fans will have to wait for their response.
