The Umbrella Academy season 2: Allison Hargreeves to REGAIN powers in new episodes?

The Umbrella Academy rounded off the first season with a number of questions raised about the welfare of a number of characters.

And as many members of the academy are not in the best way at the moment, they will certainly have to do a lot of work to steer the narrative towards some sort of salvation.

Most notably, Allison Hargreeves (played by Emmy Raver-Lampman) got her vocal chords cut by Vanya Hargreeves (Ellen Page).

And Klaus Hargeeves (Robert Sheehan) opened up an entirely new avenue of his powers when he brought forth Ben Hargreeves (Justin H. Min) from the dead to attack their enemies.

But the show’s source material delves into some of these issues in its second book: Dallas.

The story follows Number Five’s (Aidan Gallagher) venture into the past with his siblings to assassinate John F Kennedy.

And while this seems like a pretty strange twist for narrative, it tied up a number of loose ends which may be explored in the upcoming second season of the show.

Most importantly, Allison’s neck injury is fixed with help gained from Number Five’s friends at The Commission.

The repair of Allison’s neck brings her lost abilities back once again, allowing her to carry out the assassination.

This turn of events could be the route season two will be headed as the members of the academy attempt to outlive the apocalypse.

As Number Five will now be leading the team through time and space to save the world, he may also get some more screen time.

And as viewers find out more about Number Five, they may see his secret love interest, as hinted at in a recent tweet from the character’s actor, Aidan.

Fans began speaking out about Number Five and Vanya’s relationship, with one saying: “An underrated but awesome friendship with a hint of abandonment.”

To which Aidan replied: “Love this. They had a crush but now it’s far too late.”

And when fans began asking more questions, he simply continued: “Wrong.

“We were students in a co-ed boarding school. We were taken from mothers around the world.

“Sir Reginald referred to us as numbers so as to not reflect any emotional attachment. We were warriors in training, not family. Our caregiver was a robot. Pogo served only Reginald.”

Aidan later added: “Just MY theory on why she would make sandwiches for years and leave the light on.

“She cared for him as a brother or friend, I can’t speak for her. Five drops all harshness around her.”

The Umbrella Academy is available on Netflix.
