Celebrity Behind the Mask: Patti LaBelle                                  Host Nick Cannon was sure he knew the Flower had to be the legendary singer, and she knew it too.                                  “I knew it!” Cannon said after helping LaBelle take off her mask. “I didn’t want to say anything. We all had the feeling.”                                  LaBelle shared how much she enjoyed her time on the show and credited season 1’s Gladys Knight for inspiring her to stay true to herself during the competition.                                  “I loved it, I loved it,” she said. “I didn’t change my voice, this is it. This what God gave me. When I heard Gladys Knight, I knew it was her and I knew when you first heard me Nick knew, you all knew and I knew that you knew.”

Celebrity Behind the Mask: Kelly Osbourne                                  The actress and TV personality fooled the audience and judges alike with her fake Southern accent — but after the studio audience voted her as the least favorite performance of the night, they were shocked to discover Kelly Osbourne under the Ladybug mask.                                   “I heard the first word come out of my mouth. I was like, ‘They’re going to know it’s me,'” Osbourne said of disguising her telltale accent after being unmasked. “And then this accent just came out and I had to do it the whole time and every single time inside this mask I’ve been dying laughing every time I have to speak.”                                  Following her performance of 5 Seconds of Summer’s “Youngblood,” the judges guessed the Ladybug could be any number of female celebrities, from Paris Jackson to Lindsay Lohan, Nicki Minaj or Jamie Lynn Spears.                                   “It was really hard living with this secret but it was me behind the #Ladybug mask! Sorry to all my friends I lied to and thank you to everyone @maskedsingerfox for this incredible experience,” Osbourne tweeted after the reveal, adding the hashtag, “IDoAGoodSouthernAccent.”

Celebrities Behind the Mask: Sherri Shepherd and Raven Symoné                                  After a two-week break because of the World Series, the Masked Singer came back with a two-hour show and a two-celebrity elimination. By the end of the extended episode, TV host and comedian Shepherd was revealed to be the Penguin after her performance of Meghan Trainor’s “All About That Bass,” and actress Raven Symoné unmasked herself in her Black Widow suit after performing Cher’s “Believe.”                                  Although fans were sad to see them go, both stars walked away feeling accomplished and happy with their experience on the show.                                  “My son Jeffrey said, ‘Mommy, you should do this!’” Shepherd said after removing her penguin head. “And I said, ‘I’m scared.’ And he goes, ‘You should just do it scared.’ So I did!”                                  Symoné added: “I’ve been in the music industry and the industry for a really long time and I said, ‘Oh my goodness, it would be awesome if I don’t have to see anybody, they can’t see me, I can be the person I am in the mirror.’”

Host Nick Cannon asked the studio audience to vote for its favorite singer of the night and unfortunately, Shaffer didn’t make the cut. However, his experience on the show proved to be a positive one.

It was a stretch. The daughter of the greatest boxer of all time, Muhammad Ali, had “a lot of fun” during her performance, but she did admit, “This is the first time I’ve ever lost something like this, so my heart, yeah … It was very humbling, but it’s been fun.”

The judges, Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke, tried their best to figure out who the new contestants are based on their character clues, performances and host Nick Cannon’s hints.                                   After intense battles between Butterfly (winner) and Egg, Thingamajig (winner) and Skeleton, Ladybug and Rottweiler (winner) and Tree (winner) and Ice Cream, the final smackdown was between Ice Cream and Ladybug. Ice Cream sang Devo’s “Whip It” and Ladybug countered with “Hit Me With Your Best Shot” by Pat Benatar, but in the end, the judges chose Ladybug as the winner.                                  Once it was time to unmask Egg and Ice Cream, audiences were shocked to find that Egg turned out to be Olympic ice skater Johnny Weir and Ice Cream was video game streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins.

Celebrity Behind the Mask: T-Pain                                  After beating out the Bee and the Peacock, the Monster was crowned the winner of The Masked Singer! The Bee was revealed to be Gladys Knight, who sang Bonnie Raitt’s “I Can’t Make You Love Me” and the Peacock was revealed to be Donny Osmond, who sang Ray Charles’ “Shake a Tail Feather.” The two battled it out but it was the Monster, Grammy Award-winning singer and rapper T-Pain, who took home the golden mask.
