The Flash star Grant Gustin says the Arrowverse is breaking the "stigma" about TV

The DCTV universe (or as its more commonly known, the Arrowverse) is well known for its crossover specials. We’ve had a musical, aliens and a Multiverse spanning storyline focused around a wedding.

This year is going to be more low-key in terms of scale, but in terms of fan pleasing moments, they are bringing out the big guns.

The Flash, Supergirl and Arrow three-night crossover event this year will feature the return of Tyler Hoechlin as Superman, the debut of Lois Lane and the introduction of Gotham City and Ruby Rose as Batwoman.

You’re not the only one who’s super hyped for it, The Flash‘s leading man Grant Gustin can’t wait either.

“To see Flash and Superman together and to be one of the guys in the suits is something I’m definitely pretty excited about.”

He also says that just because the Arrowverse is a franchise of TV shows and not movies, it doesn’t mean they are less valid than movies.

“It did feel like something they would always save for the features, to be honest,” he told Entertainment Weekly.

“But I feel like the Arrowverse has kind of been changing that stigma with the whole TV is the lesser medium. I think it kind of doesn’t matter these days with the streaming and content’s kind of everywhere.

“So, it is cool to see us kind of rise to even another level and bring all of us together for these crossovers. It’s pretty epic.”

To be honest, we feel like the Arrowverse has been handled a lot better than the DCEU Worlds of DC.
