The Chase viewers baffled as ditzy player forgets her own children’s names

The Chase viewers couldn't quite believe their ears when one player on Wednesday's episode forgot the names of her own children.

Player one, Lucy, had a chat with host Bradley Walsh before her cash builder round and told him a bit about her home life.

She said she had a husband, four kids and plenty of pets to keep her busy.

But when TV favourite Bradley asked the 37-year-old the name of her children, she suffered a major mind blank.

"Jennifer, Alfie…" she started, before her expression dropped.

She continued: "It's terrible – I can't remember. Jennifer, Alfie, Mabel and Gracie."

Viewers were shocked and while they feared the worst for her time on the show, they oddly knew the feeling.

"She can't even remember her kids' names, we're f***ed here lads," one tweeted.

Another joked: "I can't remember my kids' names either… it's the wine."

While a third sympathised, writing: "We all forget the names when we need one, so we say all the names."

But that wasn't the only thing Lucy said that seemed to rattle viewers, as a comment she made about her husband Dave came out as a bit of a naughty innuendo.
