The Chase: ‘Sorry my mistake’ Bradley Walsh FORCED to apologise after major confusion

The Chase host Bradley Walsh usually has a good rapport with each of his contestants, but this evening he slipped up a little in a hilarious sequence of events.

Whilst introducing his third contestant of the evening, Aaron, he inquired as to how the player would use his money if he took home the jackpot.

To which Aaron explained he would be looking to purchase an All Saints leather jacket.

But after brushing the comment off Bradley returned to the conversation about the luxury high street brand, and wanted to clarify exactly what it was.

He asked: “Is that the pop group All Saints?”

To which Aaron smirked before explaining that, no, it was in fact a clothing company.

This interaction prompted a quick apology from Bradley as he explained: “I thought it was a bit of pop memorabilia!”

Not stopping there, Bradley continued to lament: “Sorry, my mistake.”

The presenter then doubled-up on his apology and added: “Sorry, fair enough.

“Let’s get you a leather jacket shall we?”

He then pointed out that another member of the team wanted to purchase a top.

He continued: “Liz wants an Elvis top, you want a leather jacket!”

Bradley hasn’t had the best week on the show as yesterday saw him crashing to the studio floor.

After a brutal head-to-head round with his second contestant Steph, it looked like it was all over for her.

However in a clutch question from Shaun Wallace, Bradley’s prayers were answered.

With the question: “Which of these is an American singer-songwriter? A) Horse Power, B) Cat Power, or C) Turtle Power,” in front of the chaser, Bradley was sure Shaun knew the real answer.

But as Shaun answered the question incorrectly, Bradley leapt to the floor in astonishment.

The host even exclaimed: “I cannot believe it!”

“Have you been drinking?” the host then joked, as Shaun shook his head with a shrug.

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
