‘The Bachelor’: Is Peter Weber Too Stressed to Be the Bachelor?

“TheBachelor” season 24 seems like it’s going to be a tense one. It’s stillearly in the season and Peter Weber already seems very overwhelmed by having tochoose from so many women. Is “The Bachelor” star too stressed out to be thestar of the show? Here’s Showbiz Cheat Sheet’s take on Weber’s season.

Peter Weber looked tortured after seeing Hannah Brown

At this point, it’s easy to see Hannah Brown is still on Weber’s mind. She appeared unexpectedly during the first two episodes, and Weber pretty much lost it. He was clearly confused and not over Brown. Seeing her during the group date made things tough for him. He was so flustered by the encounter that he cancelled the remainder of the date. Since the women didn’t get to spend any time with Weber, they weren’t too happy about the change of plans.

Peter Weber seems stressed

Former “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” star RachelLindsay sat down for a discussion about Weber’s season with The Ringer’s JulietLitman. During the podcast, Litman saysWeber seems really stressed by being the star of “The Bachelor.” According to Litman, all the drama in the house seems to be weighing heavily on Weber, and “hisgo-to move is either dancing or making out.” Whenever the camera turns to Weberafter a tense moment, he appears to be under a lot of emotional strain.

Litman says she doesn’t think Weber will survive thepressure of being the star of the show. “Peter was so stressed this week; itwas really funny and cute,” Litman said. “I don’t understand why he kissedAlayah, because she stressed him out so bad. I’m just concerned he doesn’t havea high capacity for conflict, and I don’t know how he’s going to make itthrough the next seven weeks.”

Two dramatic situations that are stressing Peter Weber out

One situation that weighed heavily on Weber was the champagne situation between Kelsey and Hannah Ann. He recently told “Entertainment Tonight” that the drama between the two women left him feeling confused. Hannah Ann said she was being bullied, but Kelsey didn’t agree. Weber is interested in both women, so he’s not sure what to do about it. He’s also feeling conflicted about Alayah.

After Weber sent Alayah home for allegedly not beinggenuine, he told a producer he wasn’t sure if he made the right decision. Beforehe sent Alayah on her way, he told her he was sorry and that it wasn’t easy forhim to make his decision. Alayah said she was sorry too, but that she respectedhis decision. However, we now know from the show preview that Alayah comes backlater. Was she invited by Weber or did she show up on her own? We’ll just haveto wait and see what happens next.

“TheBachelor” airs Mondays on ABC at 8:00 p.m. Eastern
