Who will star in The Baby Sitters Club season 2?

The entire main cast are expected to return for the second series of The Baby Sitters Club.

Up and coming stars Sophie Grace and  Momona Tamada will be back as Kristy Thomas and Claudia Kishi respectively.

Also returning is  Shay Rudolph as Stacey McGill, the treasuer of the club,  Malia Baker as Mary Anne Spier as club secretary and  Xochitl Gomez as Dawn Schafer.

Miss Match star Alicia Silverstone will reprise her role as Elizabeth Thomas-Brewer, Kristy’s mother.

Prison Break’s  Mark Feuerstein returns as Watson Brewer, Elizabeth’s new husband.

What will happen in The Baby Sitters Club season 2?

The Baby Sitters Club is based on the series of novels of the same name by Ann M. Martin, which sold 176 million copies in total.

The books have already been adapted into a 1995 film and now Netflix has made a series, with author Martins serving as an executive producer.

This means, there is plenty of material for creators of The Baby Sitters Club to draw on.

The Baby Sitters Club follows a grop of  seven pre-teen girls are looking for something to do over the summer holidays.

They come up with the idea of setting up a baby-sitters club together.

The end of The Baby Sitters Club season one saw the baby sitters end their long battle with  camp director Means (Tami Sagher).

The synopsis for the new series reads: ” Season two of The Baby-Sitters Club follows the friendship and adventures of Kristy Thomas, Mary Anne Spier, Claudia Kishi, Stacey McGill, Dawn Schafer, Jessie Ramsey, Mallory Pike as the middle-schoolers start their babysitting business in the town of Stoneybrook, Connecticut.
