Teen Mom Kailyn Lowry claims Chris Lopez went WEEKS without seeing their sons Lux, 4, & Creed, 1, before custody battle

TEEN Mom Kailyn Lowry claimed Chris Lopez went weeks without seeing their sons Lux and Creed prior to their heated custody battle.

The pair's relationship has been tense as Chris is determined to obtain 50/50 custody of their two boys.

Kailyn took to Instagram to address her co-parenting situation with her ex and how it compares to her relationship with her other baby daddies.

She explained in a lengthy post that "there are extenuating circumstances involving Chris that were not present with Javi or Jo," referring to the fathers of her two oldest boys.

The MTV star shares eight-year-old son Lincoln with her ex-husband Javi Marroquin, and 12-year-old Isaac with her ex Jo Rivera.

She then went on to preach the importance of her boys spending time with their father, but claimed "Chris's capacity to parent" differs from her other co-parents'.

Kailyn continued by reflecting on their current custody agreement, which allows Chris visitation with their four-year-old and one-year-old sons a few days a month.

"It has been super challenging for me to navigate the restrictions surrounding his coparenting, and I ultimately didn't make the decision, the judge did.

"If things were as easy and simple as he thinks they are, he would have gotten more time."

Kailyn further alleged that Chris seldomly sees their children and has been absent for lengthy periods of time in between visits, which she claimed depended on their relationship.

"Chris always saw them when we were good because he wanted something from me, but his motive was never to just spend time with them," she wrote.

"He has gone days or weeks without checking up prior to court involvement."

The mom-of-four added: "The boys only have two parents, and when he is falling short, I have to pick up the slack and fill in the gaps emotionally,, physically and financially."

Kailyn concluded her post, writing: "When Chris is constantly referring to 'they' – who is they? They is the court. The court made this ruling.

"I showed up the same way he did. I'm not they. I am she. I am Kail. I don't have the power to make the decision that was made."

BANNED FROM FILMING

Last week, Chris made his debut on Teen Mom 2, months after he claimed he was banned from filming with the pair's two sons on the show.

Back in November, he told a fan that he wasn't allowed to film with his children amid his custody battle with Kailyn, 31.

"I told y'all I was told I can't, somebody told me I can't film with my kids.

"So I'm not filming with my kids," he responded to a fan.

'TRULY HAPPY'

Around the same time, Chris welcomed a third child – Trew “CJ” Christopher – with another woman.

The MTV star had announced the news on his P.T.S.D podcast, gushing: "I love being a dad, I promise you. I experience more with the third one than I have with the others. It feels crazy, it feels good.

"I got to be a part of it more than I ever have."

Chris continued: "I love kids. I've always gotten along with kids, I don't know how. They know how to have fun. They're so innocent."

Earlier this week, he shared a rare photo with all of his three children including the question: "What's one thing that truly makes you happy?"
