Tears, tantrums and trouble – here’s what happened on Love Island last night

It's only been three days but you really wouldn't think it given the tears and tantrums on Love Island last night.

Who'd have believed the first recoupling, which saw NO ONE go home, could cause so much drama?

Tommy Fury caused havoc by snatching Lucie from Joe, who was left deeply upset by the whole thing.

Meanwhile Curtis picked Amy off Adam Collard wannabe Anton.

At the end of the week all Islanders will have to take part in a recouping and anyone not in a couple will be dumped.

Tonight, the two new couples – Curtis and Amy and Tommy and Lucie – went on a double date, leaving Joe to lick his wounds from the recouping in the beach hunt.

Lucie was upfront with Tommy at the date and said that her loyalties still lay with Joe but Tommy began to charm her.

His flattery ramped up a notch when he insisted that if two Beyonces and three Rihannas walked in tomorrow his head wouldn’t be turned. Quite the statement. Lucie was suitably impressed with his "way with words".

Amy and Curtis also began to click during their date, with both insisting that they had a connection.

Back at the villa, Amber continued to plot her way out of her coupling with poor ‘old’ Callum and, seeing that Joe was single, she had a light bulb moment. She tried to strike up a conversation with Joe, but his thoughts were still clearly occupied by Lucie.
