Kevin and Karen Clifton showed a united front as they performed in a routine which left fans in tears over its beauty.
The first number in tonight’s Strictly Come Dancing opener was from the professionals, where the ladies dresses in flowing blue gowns and were lifted and swirled by their gorgeous male counterparts.
But the pair who were being watched more closely than others were Karen and Kevin, who announced their marriage split in March and have since been setting the rumour mill in motion over potential "bitterness" and "Warring" in their dance partnership.
In tonight’s performance, however, their put those rumours to bed as they smiled and dance beautifully together, reminding the fans of what they are really about and why they are some of the nation’s favourite performers.
The dance itself, which started with a prerecorded segment in London, saw the dancers swirling and hugging in a gorgeous routine, before the whole company continued in the same vein as they performed in the studio.
One fan wrote: "Kevin and Karen dancing to that beautiful song made me quite teary and emotional #Strictly."
Another said: "Seeing Kevin and Karen dancing makes my heart melt. #truelove."
A third added: "I find it so cute that Karen and Kevin still dance together on Strictly even though they’re not married anymore like we can STAN a friendship."
One even asked whether the pair were even properly separated, suggesting maybe they have got back together secretly, based on the quality and passion of their movements.

After the duo announced their split in March, they put on a brave face and battled through their live tour, which ended in July, and now they are back together putting dance first on the show which brought them into the spotlight.
Kevin told BBC Radio 2’s Chris Evans: "We wanted to let everyone know that privately we’re not together anymore, but professionally we are stronger than ever.
"Dance has always been the thing… dance is how we came together and has been the glue that held us together for years now.
"We’re still the best of friends, we’ve got a lot of love and respect for each other, I still pretty much see Karen every day."
However, since this interview, there were rumours Kevin had dropped Karen from his upcoming Burn the Floor show, as well as suggestions the pair were "warring and fighting" in private.
Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday at 6.30pm on BBC1.
