Strictly’s Ashley Roberts cuddles up to her dad as finalists’ adorable childhood snaps are revealed

The Pussycat Dolls star, 37, is currently preparing for tonight's grand finale alongside fellow finalists Stacey Dooley, 31, Joe Sugg, 27, and Faye Tozer, 43, which will see them each perform three separate routines.

But before taking to the ballroom one last time, Ashley looked utterly adorable in an array of throwbacks snap with her father Pat, 70, who sadly took his own life in March.

In one particular photo from yesteryear, the entertainer looked no more then three-years-old as she posed for a photo with her dad, who was the drummer in The Mamas and the Papas.

While Ashley's cheeky personality could be seen shining through in another photograph with her father as they soaked up the sun during a family holiday.

It appeared dancing was always in the Arizona native's blood as she showcased her perfectly pointed feet in another charming photo as a little one.

Documentary maker Stacey proved she always a cheeky glint in her eye looking back on her childhood snaps.

The BBC3 presenter teased at her taste for fashion in a number of smiling shots, years before becoming a style star in her own right.

Fellow finalist Joe may be known for his chiselled jawline these days but as a tot, he was cute as a button with his pinch-worthy cheeks.

The YouTuber is currently sporting a vibrant red coif for tonight's show, which is worlds away from the white blonde hair he courted as child.

Ahead of tonight's grand finale, Ashley admitted Strictly has been an "emotional rollercoaster" after ending up in the three consecutive dance offs.

The Pussycat Doll star has been heavily criticised throughout the series for her previous dance experience.

Despite wowing the judges and topping the leaderboard on a number of occasions, the star has found herself in the bottom two for the last three weeks alongside dance partner Pasha Kovalev.

Ahead of Saturday's final, Ashley has admitted the show has been a lot harder in ways she hadn't expected.

She told The Sun Online and other media at the Strictly Finalists press conference in London: "The emotional rollercoaster ride, it is such a process throughout the week, what you go through.

"You start doubting yourself [and think] ‘how is this all going to come together on Saturday?’ but it does.

She continued: "I thought it would be physically challenging but also the emotional and mental strain that sometimes happens is whoa!

"But it's all worth it when you look back; we’ve all done such amazing work."
