Strictly pro admits she’s ‘relieved’ to be paired with favourite Bobby Brazier

Strictly Come Dancing pro Dianne Buswell has admitted she's "relieved" to have been partnered with bookies' favourite Bobby Brazier.

Professional dancer Dianne was partnered with model and EastEnders star Bobby during Saturday night's (September 16) pre-recorded pairing show.

But before the pairings had even happened, 20-year-old Bobby was already the favourite to win the series – so there's no wonder Dianne, 34, was excited.

After the glittering show, she shared a handful of snaps posing with Bobby, with both of them smiling wide behind the scenes.

Dianne, who is dating her 2018 celebrity partner Joe Sugg, wrote in the caption: "Happy, excited, relieved and very, very grateful to be partners. Bobby and Dianne 2023 xx."

Hordes of her 902,000 followers hit the like button, while many others left a comment – although the comment section was limited.

Fellow Strictly pro Gorka Marquez wrote: "Love these two."

Emmerdale beauty Amy Walsh said: "This is gonna be amazing!"

Bobby's EastEnders co-star Max Bowden said: "My boy. Kill it."

Giovanna Fletcher left a love heart and hands praising emoji, while Adam Thomas, who is also competing on this year's Strictly, left a string of flame emojis.

Even former Strictly judge Arlene Phillips got involved, commenting: "Adorable."

Meanwhile, one follower said: "I am so here for this! Congratulations Dianne, so pleased for you, I bet he's a dream to teach and congratulations Bobby, you've got the best pro dancer in the biz!"

And another said: "I'm so excited for this partnership! We need a team name!"

However it seems fans already have one, with many people branding the pairing "Team Dobby".

This year, the other pairings are: Adam Thomas and Luba Mushtuk, Amanda Abbington and Giovanni Pernice, Angela Rippon and Kai Widdrington, Angela Scanlon and Carlos Gu, Annabel Croft and Johannes Radebe, Eddie Kadi and Karen Hauer, Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola, Jody Cundy and Jowita Przystał, Krishnan Guru-Murthy and Lauren Oakley, Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin, Les Dennis and Nancy Xu, Nigel Harman and Katya Jones, Nikita Kanda and Gorka Márquez, and Zara McDermott and Graziano Di Prima.

Strictly continues with its first live show on Saturday, September 23 on BBC One
