Strictly fans go wild for Tess Daly’s ‘beautiful’ diamanté dress for 2022 final

Strictly Come Dancing viewers went wild for Tess Daly's "beautiful" diamanté strapless dress on Saturday night's show.

Tess, 53, took to the dance floor with co-host Claudia Winkleman to share all the news, scores and updates from the hit BBC One dance show for the 2022 final.

However, the presenter left viewers distracted with her sparkly dress as fans went wild on social media over the ensemble.

Tess looked sensational in the dress which consisted of a black strapless gown adorned with diamanté detailing and a daring thigh-high slit.

The presenter styled her signature blonde locks into a sleek Hollywood-style blow-dried hairdo, she added a slick of glamorous make-up, a diamanté choker and sparkling heels.

Taking to social media, one person said: "Another beautiful outfit as per" with a heart emoji.

A different account put heart emojis followed with: "Looking good Tess."

Another follower wrote: "Great outfit, @tessdaly" with three heart emojis.

While another viewer added a collection of fire emojis.

It comes as four couples – Fleur East and Vito Coppola, Hamza Yassin and Jowita Przystal, Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu, and Helen Skelton and Gorka Marquez – are hoping to lift the 2022 Glitterball Trophy on Saturday night.

Each of the finalists have topped the Strictly leaderboard at some point – Hamza five times, Fleur and Helen twice and Molly once – during their time on the show and will be fighting to win the most public votes on Saturday evening.

During the show, the four stars will all perform a routine chosen by the judges, their own favourite dance and finally a show dance.

Helen and Gorka will perform the jive to Tightrope by Janelle Monae at the request of the judges, their couple’s choice routine to Mein Herr by Liza Minnelli (from Cabaret) and finally their show dance to Shine by Emeli Sandé.

After making it through her latest dance-off on Monday, Fleur and Vito will perform a samba to Hot Hot Hot by Arrow as their judges’ pick.

Their favourite dance will also be their couple’s choice routine, performed to a Destiny’s Child megamix by Destiny’s Child, followed by their show dance to Find Me by Sigma featuring Birdy.

Hamza, who topped the leaderboard with Jowita in the live semi-final on Sunday, will perform a judges’ pick routine of the salsa to Ecuador by Sash! featuring Rodriguez.

He will also perform his and Jowita's couple’s choice to Jerusalema Remix by Master KG featuring Burna Boy and Nomcebo Zikode, as well as a show dance to Let’s Face The Music And Dance by Irving Berlin.

Molly and her partner Carlos will perform a quickstep to Love On Top by Beyonce as their judges’ pick, their rumba to All The Man That I Need by Whitney Houston as their favourite and finish with a show dance to a mix of Kiss and 1999 – both by Prince.

Last year’s competition saw Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice crowned the winners of the competition.
