Saturday night’s (September 8) launch of Strictly Come Dancing 2018 witnessed last year’s champion Katya Jones paired up with comedian Seann Walsh.
Although the professional dancer wasn’t expecting Seann to be her partner this series – Katya’s now revealed to OK! that she’s “reading for anything”.
“I must say, I didn’t expect it,” the 29-year-old Russian admitted. “However, after two years on the show, I’m ready for anything! From what I can see so far, Seann is going to work really hard – he’s cleared his schedule and every spare minute I saw him in the rehearsals for the group number, he was going over the steps.
“But more than that, he’s just so adorable. It’s going to be challenging, and he’s never danced before, but I’m sure the audience is going to fall in love with him. He’s already calling me Boss!”

Prior to the coupling up, Katya apologised to this year’s male participants as she believes the judges will look past her because of last year’s victory.
On an Instagram story submitted last month, she said: “Oh my God… um… I told the boys that whoever gets me, I’m really sorry ‘cos they’re probably not going to win, since I won it last year.”
Can these two pull off the unimaginable and go all the way?
Strictly Come Dancing will begin the live shows from September 22.
