Strictly Come Dancing reveals songs and dances for this weekend

The latest Strictly Come Dancing songs and dances have been revealed, and it looks like you won’t want to miss this weekend’s shows.

On the back of Danny John-Jules and Amy Dowden’s exit, the celebrities and their professional dancers will be looking to raise their game further to impress the judges and viewers alike.

Ashley Roberts and Pasha Kovalev will be doing the jive to The Blues Brothers’ ‘Shake Ya Tail Feather’.

Lauren Steadman and AJ Pritchard are tackling the Argentine tango to ‘River’ by Bishop Briggs.

Meanwhile, strong favourites Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton will be hoping to continue their good form, performing the salsa to Gina G’s ‘Ooh Ahh (Just a Little Bit)’.

To the track of ‘Unstoppable’ by E.S. Posthumus, Faye Tozer and Giovanni Pernice are doing the paso doble.

Kate Silverton and Aljaž Skorjanec are doing the American smooth to ‘Everlasting Love’ by Love Affair.

Graeme Swann and Oti Mabuse, dancing theatre and jazz as part of their Couple’s Choice, will take to the dancefloor to Meet Me in St. Louis’ ‘The Trolley Song’.

Elsewhere, Charles Venn and Karen Clifton are taking on the samba with Connie Francis’ ‘La Bamba’ as the music.

And finally, Joe Sugg and Dianne Buswell will perform the quickstep to ‘Dancin’ Fool’ by Copacabana.

The past few days have been rather awkward on the show, with reports of a blow-up in rehearsals between Danny John-Jules and Amy Dowden before losing the dance-off.

Then, fans were stunned yesterday (November 12) when Danny no-showed a scheduled TV interview with Amy on It Takes Two.

Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday (November 17) at 6.45pm, followed by the results show on Sunday (November 18) at 7.20pm.

This week’s results show will also feature a live performance from pop legends Take That.
