Strictly Come Dancing contestant Karim Zeroual has taken the competition by storm, and last week topped the leaderboard with his partner Amy Dowden as they performed a Quickstep to Mr. Pinstripe Suit by Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, scoring them a near perfect 39 points.
Addressing their leaderboard-topping performance last weekend, Karim gushed about how much he enjoyed his performance.
He told Rylan: “This dance gives me goosebumps, it’s the first time I went out there and thought… I’m doing this.”
The presenter then moved on as they appeared to have spotted an error in last weeks routine, replying: “It was so good, and it was a brilliant routine, and we noticed something…”
A short clip of the end of their routine from last weekend was shown, as Amy told her partner: “I’m so sorry about that.”

A confused Rylan asked: “What were you sorry for? The crimp? What was going on?”
“No actually, we had a measuring tape at the start, and the choreography with the tape at the start was totally different to every other time we did it.
“When I put it round him, he was supposed to grab this one, and I was supposed to grab this one, but with the suit and everything, they were too close together.
Karim “I was supposed to hold the thing.”
Before they could carry on to reveal what happened, host Rylan jibed: “Oh my God, I’m bored already.”
As Amy tried her hardest to continue telling the story, and her dance partner fell back on the sofa in laughter as Karim reminded him: “It’s your question!”
Rylan insisted that he was “joking” before Amy carried on explaining what had happened: “He was meant to spin out this tape,” as Karim interrupted his partner, saying: “Don’t carry on!”
The host insisted he was joking, and told the pair: “No, I’m actually in it now, I was joking and now I’m like ‘the tapes span out’.”

Amy added: “Karim was meant to spin out, but then I had to just drop it on the floor because he didn’t have it, and he’s looking at me as if to say, ‘just drop the measuring tape’ and I’m going, ‘no we’re going to do this.”
Rylan then told them both: “Oh I’ve just been told Hollywood are on the phone as we speak, they want to make a biopic about this!
The host quickly recovered from his joking dig: “Something went wrong, we didn’t realise, that’s how good you guys are getting, you are just on it!”
This weekend, Karim and Amy will be dancing the Viennese Waltz to Give Me Love by Ed Sheeran, as they hope to continue to impress the judges after they topped the leaderboard last weekend.
As Rylan pointed out the emotional song paired with their dance, he asked the pair if there had been tears, to which Karim replied: “Tears of frustration.”

Karim admitted that he had struggled with the routine this week, as he told Rylan that the Viennese Waltz was “tough” and that: “It doesn’t sink in as well as some of the other dances I’ve done.”
As the topic of Blackpool inevitably came up, Rylan asked the pair what it would mean for them to make it through.
“We wanna get there so bad, this is where Amy first realised she wanted to be a dancer… she won her first title in Blackpool,” Karim explained.
“For me personally it’s giving back to Amy for all the hard work she’s put in… it would mean the world.”
The eight remaining couples will be back tomorrow to fight it out for the chance to get through to Blackpool, who will make it through?
