Ella Richardson (Erin Palmer) is harbouring a huge secret in Hollyoaks, as she keeps shtum about the fact that it was she who killed Jordan Price (Connor Calland), and not Charlie Dean (Charlie Behan).
However, could the truth be set to out at last?
It’s certainly a possibility, in spite of Mandy Morgan (Sarah Jayne Dunn) going out of her way to ensure that her daughter’s murder secret remains hidden.
Yasmine Maalik (Haiesha Mistry) decides to investigate Jordan’s murder for the local paper, and therefore appeals for information.
Mandy isn’t pleased, and accuses her of reopening old wounds, before begging her to stop.
However, Yazz doesn’t listen to Mandy’s request, and later ambushes Ella.
Mandy witnesses the ambush, and — fearing the truth could be exposed — she lashes out at Yazz, but demonstrates her panic in front of Luke (Gary Lucy) and Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor Dawson).
Darren is left confused by her outburst, but Luke is all the more certain that they need to come clean.
Therefore, he orders her to go the police, and if she fails to do so, then he promises he will instead.
Mandy agrees, and tells Luke that she will, in fact, come clean to Darren.
The question is: will she do so?
