Shona Platt (Julia Goulding) heads back to Coronation Street soon, but it’s David’s (Jack P Shepherd) actions that make her question whether she’d actually like to continue having a life on the cobbles.
Currently, David is struggling with Max (Paddy Bever) being behind bars after he pleaded guilty to his involvement in Griff’s (Michael Condron) extremism gang.
With Shona in London alongside Lily (Brooke Malonie), David has been left to deal with the aftermath on his own and next week, he gets drunk in Victoria Garden after learning that Max has been attacked in the STC.
Spotted by Maria (Samia Longchambon), David opens up to her, but ends up leaning in for a drunken kiss.
Later on, Gary (Mikey North) enters the pub and tells Shona everything, who feels completely mortified.
Back at home, Shona announces to David that she’s leaving him.
The next day, a downcast David admits to Gail (Helen Worth) that Shona’s left.
Meanwhile, Maria finds Shona and assures her that David’s drunken pass meant absolutely nothing, but will it be enough to persuade Shona to give him another chance?
