ONE time Love Island besties Maura Higgins and Lucie Donlan have fallen out after a luxury holiday together.
The pair, who shot to fame in the Majorcan villa in 2019, no longer see eye to eye after Maura blindsided Lucie by unfollowing her on social media last autumn.
The shock unfollowing came after the girls enjoyed a luxury Maldives getaway together in December 2021.
However, since then they've seen each other less and less and now the friendship is officially over, The Sun can reveal.
A source said: "Lucie and Maura just drifted apart – it was fun when they were both single and going on holidays together but Lucie's settling down in Cornwall with her fiance and Maura lives in London.
"When Maura unfollowed Lucie though, it was a bit of a shock – clearly they weren't as close as Lucie thought they were, as it was a bit of a harsh move and ended the friendship on a bit of a sour note."

Maura and Lucie's reps have been approached for comment.
Some fans have speculated animosity between Lucie and Molly-Mae Hague – who is close friends with Maura – contributed to the fall out, although there is no evidence of that.
Molly and Lucie made it clear they weren't pals in interviews following their time in the villa.
Molly told Metro in 2019: "I do still see the people that I was close with in the villa, and Lucie and I weren’t close in the villa.

"So she would say that because I’d say the same about her because we don’t speak, we weren’t close. And obviously circumstances just mean that we’re not close like that."
Surfer girl Lucie is in a relationship with another villa alum, her now fiancé Luke Mabbott and prefers laid-back Cornish vibes and the great outdoors to fast-paced city life.
The pair have just returned from a short ski trip in Europe with OOSC Clothing.
While single Maura is regularly pictured at glitzy events in the capital and likes a relaxing beach getaway.
