Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi of Shahs of Sunset and Shalom Yeroushalmi seemed to fall in love just as quickly as they fell out of it. So much so that it’s probably hard to pin down how long they were actually married. Here is everything to know about how long they were married and why it didn’t work out.
Golnesa Gharachedaghi and Shalom Yeroushalmi were married for seven weeks
The couple got married in an intimate ceremony on Jan. 25, 2017 and later shared it on Instagram. Gharachedaghi posted a video of the couple saying “I do.” She later wrote “Yes, we still plan on having a reception at some point so we can share our love with family and friends,” according to Us Weekly.
But the marriage only lasted seven weeks and Gharachedaghi filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences.” “During the past few weeks, certain facts have come to GG’s attention that have made her realize her marriage can no longer continue, and, in fact, should never have happened,” her rep Steve Honig told E! News. “She is hoping to end the relationship as amicably and respectfully as possible.”
The reality star has announced in an Instagram post that she is officially divorced. She wrote “Let me say this loud… HALLELUJAH!!! I am officially divorced!!!!!!! Married for 7 weeks and trying to get divorced for nearly 2 years.”

She said that she wanted to throw up on her wedding day
The divorced star revealed that she actually felt sick on her wedding day and quickly regretted getting married. “I wanted to throw up,” she told E! News. “I was just thinking, ‘My dad’s going to kill me right now. And my mom is going to wake me up and then kill me again.’ It was wrong, and it’s kind of a pattern with me. I make just fast decisions in the moment, and I pay the price afterwards, and I am right now.”
She revealed why she still went through with the wedding. “It was my ego. I had come this far and I made this promise to him and I wanted [to follow through].”
The Shahs of Sunset star revealed she plans to start a family
Golnesa Gharachedaghi has been open about wanting to start a family recently. “I would definitely like to find someone that will be interested in sharing that with me, when having a child,” she said on Watch What Happens Live. “I’m not the relationship type. I’ve established that. It’s nothing I need therapy for; I just don’t do commitment. But I would like someone who would like to join me in having a kid.”
However, she revealed in the same interview that she hasn’t had any luck in that department. “No, I’m not the dating type. I’ve never been the dating type.” She added, “So I’ve been pretty single. I haven’t really been interested in anything since Shalom.”
It should be interesting following what will be next for the reality star. She seems to be very relieved to have her divorce behind her.
