Sex On The Streets viewers slam pensioner for fat-shaming prostitutes

There was anger among viewers that tuned in to have a peak behind the murky world of prostitution, with Channel 5 documentary Sex On The Streets.

Journalist Storm Huntley offered the insight and there was one particular ‘service’ that left a bad taste in the mouths of viewers, who vented their thoughts on social media.

Liverpool Echo reported that on the show, Storm met George, a married man who has spent 40 years employing sex workers.

The pensioner dubbed himself the "Compare the Market of adult services" having set up a website where men can write a review of the sex worker and mark them out of five.

As Storm was investigating the website, she came across one disturbing review left by a man.

It read: "Met Angie three years ago, Bellies not ideal but okay, paid £40."

This was just the tip of the iceberg as it seems that ‘gorgeous’ George has quite a turn of phrase when it comes to disparaging remarks.

Fat-shaming seemed to be his idea of ‘reviewing’ sex workers and on one he wrote: "Body is well past her sell by date and so is her performance."

And another he said: "Unfortunately, she has put quite a bit of weight on…yet still thinks she can provide a reasonable price."

Questioning his wording, Storm said: "I have read a few of your reviews and it wasn’t a pleasant read and it feels like you’re treating women like an object."

George was adamant that he was doing ‘nothing wrong’ and hit back, saying: "These ladies of their free will have decided to offer their sexual services.

"They can do it well or they can do it badly, all I do is indicate which is which."

Asked whether he is worried about the damaging affects of prostitution, George gave this analogy: "I was unhappy when I was in school and I got over it."

Of course, viewers were incensed and they took the pensioner to task on Twitter , as they couldn’t believe he was being given air time.

One wrote: "Jeez that old fella at the end of the interview then", followed by a vomiting emoji.

Another said: "Been watching the Sex on the Streets doc. It’s heartbreaking to see.

"Some men are scum but there are lots of guys who respect women. I really feel for the wife whose husband uses sex workers.
