See The First Pics Of Evan Peters And Emma Roberts In 'American Horror Story: Apocalypse'

The first images of Evan Peters and Emma Roberts in American Horror Story: Apocalypse have finally been released. Based on the pics, not much has changed at the Murder House or the Coven, and we are not complaining. Last we saw Peters’s Tate Langdon, he was happily haunting the house with Violet (Taissa Farmiga), who had joined him in the afterlife. His son, Michael, was being looked after by his living mother, Constance (Jessica Lange). More on Michael later. He’s been a very bad boy, y’all.

Meanwhile, Roberts’s Madison Montgomery was killed by Kyle Spencer (Peters’s Coven character) at the end of Season 3. Kyle, who was a zombie for most of the season, went into a rage when he discovered Madison had allowed Zoe (Farmiga) to die when she could have resurrected her. When viewers parted ways with Madison, creepy butler Spalding (Denis O’Hare) had stolen her dead body and added it to his doll collection. Blargh. Despite all that, she seems to be back and bolder than ever. We’re looking forward to seeing how she rises from the dead.

American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy teased the first pic of Madison at the Murder House on Tuesday, August 28.

“Madison amongst the backyard bones at Murder House,” Murphy wrote. “AHS Apocalypse premieres Sept 12.”

An hour later, Murphy posted the first image of Tate.

“Tate. Happy to be home,” he shared.

On Sunday, August 25, Murphy revealed Connie Britton and Dylan McDermott would also be reprising their Murder House roles as Vivien and Ben Harmon.

“Connie and Dylan,” Murphy wrote. “The Harmon’s in their forever AHS home…Murder House.”

Earlier in the month, Murphy revealed the first pics of Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, and special guest star Stevie Nicks as their Coven characters, Cordelia Foxx, Misty Day, and, well, Stevie Nicks.

“The Return,” he wrote. “Cordelia, Stevie and Misty casting a bewitching spell.”

If you’re wondering how the characters of Murder House and Coven will fit into each other’s worlds, that’s where Michael comes in. Michael is the antichrist, and we’re guessing it’s up to Cordelia’s coven to stop him from ending the world. American Horror Story: Apocalypse takes place in the “near-future” when Michael is older, stronger, and even more evil than we remember (don’t forget, the kid killed his nanny as a toddler).

In other words, this won’t be easy.

Lucky for us, most of the coven will be present in Apocalypse. Cordelia, Zoe, Madison, Misty, and Queenie (Gabourey Sidibe) are all confirmed.

Lange, Britton, and McDermott will appear in episode 6, which is being directed by Paulson.

Catch American Horror Story: Apocalypse on FX September 12, 2018.
