Roxanne Pallett slammed by Emmerdale co-star Nick Miles as 'toxic' as he insists she 'threw around accusations' before she went into the CBB

Nick Miles, who plays Jimmy King, has spoken out against the actress in the wake of her Celebrity Big Brother punching scandal – the 22nd ex co-star to do so.

And he says that anybody who has worked with Roxanne knows the truth about "toxic" Roxanne, who accused housemate Ryan Thomas of physically assaulting her during a playful exchange in front of the cameras.

He wrote on Twitter: "Anybody who has worked with this woman know’s she’s toxic. CBB must have known it too.

Nick said people spoke up about Roxy "throwing around accusations" before she went in the CBB house."

"Funny everyone slating her saying she’s always been like this but no one spoke up before she went in," a fan said.

The punch row so far

  • Roxanne Pallett says she's the most hated woman in Britain in grilling by CBB host Emma Willis
  • Emma Willis says Roxanne interview was "uncomfortable" as Rylan Clark-Neal brands her "fake"
  • The actress is slammed by TWENTY of her ex-Emmerdale co-stars who back Ryan over the play fight row
  • Ofcom is flooded with more than 11,000 complaints, as fans vent their anger on social media
  • Roxanne quits the show in the early hours of Saturday morning and will not be getting her fee

Nick replied: "They did, which is why I say CBB must have known. But you don’t get far in my business by slating colleagues, especially ones that throw around accusations. We have to touch each other on stage all the time remember."

Nick isn't the only former colleague to speak out against Roxanne.

Around 20 Emmerdale cast members past and present took to Twitter to publicly criticise the actress, 35, who stormed out the house on Friday night.

One of the first to share their thoughts was Charley Webb, who plays Debbie Dingle, in the soap, and who crossed paths with Roxanne when she played Jo Sugden from 2005 to 2008.

She wrote: "It’s worrying that someone is allowed to say that about someone and they’re taking it seriously.

"We’ve just watched it and nothing happened. Outrageous."

Her former co-star Sammy Winward also gave her opinion on the 'play fighting' incident.

The Katie Sugden actress shared another of Charley's tweets and added: "It’s been a long time coming."

Verity Rushworth, who played Donna Windsor, gave her support to the former Corrie actor Ryan, 34, with what appeared to be a thinly-veiled attack on Roxanne.

The star posted: "Karma’s a bitch….. #CBB #Ryantowin xx"

She also shared a tweet by Adele Silva, who played character Kelly Windsor.

Also referencing "karma", Adele wrote: "Sometimes it takes a long long time to wait for karma or to see what someone’s really capable of – unfortunately good people get caught up in it …"

Roxanne has also been blasted by her former managers.

They wrote on Twitter: "We haven’t represented Miss Pallett for over a year. We recognise the person everyone is now seeing very well. Best wishes to Ryan and his family."

Roxanne has since apologised for her "overreaction".

She said: "At the time it hurt, but when I look back on the footage, I got it wrong."
