Roseanne Barr Reveals Her Character Will Die Of An Overdose On 'The Conners'

Clearly Roseanne Barr is still salty about the cancellation of her show and not being creatively or financially involved on The Conners. The spinoff, which includes the entire cast except for Barr, is looking to set itself apart from its predecessor. Unfortunately, Barr spoiled what’s to come on The Conners which is a massive bummer if you ask us.

Over the weekend, the controversial star made an appearance on Brandon Straka’s YouTube show Walk Away and revealed that Roseanne Conner will be killed off from an overdose!

“They killed her. They have her die of an opioid overdose,” Barr stated, before explaining that she’s dissatisfied with how the titular character was written off the series. “It wasn’t enough to [fire me], they had to so cruelly insult the people who loved that family and that show.”

Last season on the revival, Roseanne Conner was taking one too many pain killers after having her much-needed but very expensive knee surgery. Despite Roseanne hoarding pills, Barr never intended for things to take a left turn.

“I was never going to have Roseanne die of an opioid overdose. It’s so cynical and horrible. She should have died as a hero, or not at all,” Barr disclosed.
