'RHOC': Alexis Bellino Says Her Maid Post Was a Joke and She's Blocking Haters

Alexis Bellino from The Real Housewives of Orange County responded to angry comments about her maids not doing their job Instagram post. Bellino shared an image of a turned over couch, along with debris and socks on the floor.

Along with the photo, Bellino wrote, “When your couch accidentally disconnects and you realize your maids aren’t doing deep cleaning. Found 2 socks too… 😂🤦🏼‍♀️🤔.” While some fans found the remark to be funny or seemed to be in on the joke, others were appalled. “Boo hoo poor you 🤬 Maybe try and do it yourself,” one person wrote. Another person urged Bellino to check how she speaks of others. “Ouch, Alexis, be kinda plz.”

She didn’t help her case by posting a new video ranting about the time it took to get to the valet on Black Friday. Again, fans reacted. Oh my GOD?!?! 20 minutes to valet AND your ‘maids’ didn’t take apart your furniture to clean so you blasted them on social media?!?! How do you make it day to day?? You are SO strong,” one person snarked.

She seemed unaware that controversy was brewing

Bellino seemed to be unaware that fans were buzzing about her maid comment. Leading up to the most recent posts, friends and fans asked if she checked her comments. She posted a photo of a rainbow in front of a stormy sky. But people were still commenting about the previous post.

“You still got that maid post up 🙄 you might want to read the comments😂,” one person remarked. Another person added, “Maybe less time on the iphone and more time cleaning up after herself??”

She tagged a friend in the post who responded with a kind comment. But she received another comment about her previous post. “Nice to see one of your kids took time away from kicking s**t under your couch to marvel at the beauty of nature.”

So now she’s blocking people

Although Bellino didn’t respond directly to the comments, she made a point to tell Instagram followers they will be blocked if they continue to make negative comments. She added that her comment about the maid was a joke.

“To all: I can and will post whatever I want on my IG. My maids are well paid for and I love them. It was a joke. Get over yourselves, stop trolling, find happiness and please unfollow me ASAP as I’m not looking for any of your approval on my IG and I don’t need followers. I will continue to be myself on my own social media platform. Life is good. Find the happiness and peace in life and just know you will be blocked cuz I don’t have Instagram for your acceptance, nor for any of you to spread hate. Thanks!!! Have a great day! Love and light.” Jill Zarin from The Real Housewives of New York City seemed to be unaware of any controversy. “What happened?” she wrote.

Bellino then added another post. “I’m actually enjoying blocking all of you haters,” she wrote in a separate post. “I’ve always left hateful comments up because I don’t really care what you think of me. But now that I have a son on IG I’m different. HATERS/TROLLS don’t’ matter. I may end up with zero followers in the end, but guess what … I have strong kids who know y’all are just miserable folks. Social media is clearly becoming a huge trouble for young children. I will make this my life’s mission to stop all of you as I have kids coming into social medial. And by the way … you were never invited to be my friend! Remember that YOU are following ME. Not vice versa. God bless you all. Find your true purpose in life. I promise you that God doesn’t want you hating go social media.”
