More episodes of Power should be arriving sooner rather than later, as Ghost star Gianna Paolo has revealed he’s already on the set of the highly anticipated third season. The star updated fans on the Starz series’ progress this week with an exciting new post on Instagram.

Ghost regular Gianna warned fans not to underestimate his character Brayden as the Power spin-off heads into its third season.

The dust may have settled on last Sunday’s jaw-dropping finale, Love and War, but the cast is already preparing for the next chapter.

In his latest social media post, Gianna wrote: “SMH. Can’t believe y’all thought Brayden was gonna fold.

“We already out here shooting season three so sit tight while we make some more magic.”

As series lead Tariq (played by Michaely Rainey Jr) gets in deeper with the Tejada family, some fans were concerned his friend Brayden was about to throw him under the bus.

Thankfully, Tariq’s secrets are still safe, but things could still blow up in his face when the series returns.

In his new post, Gianna is seen standing menacingly on the location of the new season.

Details about season three are being kept under wraps for now, but will surely pick up from the shocking death of Lauren Baldwin (Paige Hurd).

However, there are still some fans speculating she could still be alive as her body was never shown; is it possible Effie Morales (Alix Lapri) let her go off-screen?

Meanwhile, Tariq’s boss Monet (Mary J Blige) is watching her empire slowly crumble around her after season three concluded with another unexpected death, her son Zeke (Daniel Bellomy).

Power is almost entirely filmed in New York City, though new spin-off Force has headed to Chicago to follow fan favourite Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora).

Now the cast is back in the Big Apple, fans should hopefully expect an announcement about a 2022 premiere date soon.

Season three was quickly confirmed back in December last year as popularity for the new spin-off continued to grow.

As previous seasons have premiered in September and November, viewers should expect the new season to arrive at some point in late 2022.

Plus, Starz has already started building hype for the next chapter by adding some new names to the regular cast.

Newcomers David Walton and Moriah Brown have both been confirmed as series regulars.

Plus, recurring actress Monique Curnen will be reprising her role NYPD Detective Blanca Rodriguez and has also been upped to series regular.

Before Tariq’s story continues, Gianna promised viewers more Power content is coming soon as the cast and showrunner Courtney Kemp are set to unpack the finale.

“Also make sure you tune in to @courtneyakemp’s Instagram live tomorrow at 8pm EST and watch us recap the final episode,” he added.

Courtney’s discussion with Gianna is now available to watch on her Instagram page.

Power Book II: Ghost seasons 1-2 are available to watch on Starz in America and Starz Play via Amazon Prime Video in the UK.
