'Please tell me it gets easier': Emmerdale star seeks help over illness

Emmerdale star Danny Miller has revealed that he’s felt the ‘worst he’s ever felt’ as he battles an illness which he compares to covid.

The actor, who portrayed Aaron Dingle in the ITV soap, took to social media to ask his followers for help, hoping someone could provide some advice or support on what he’s going thorough.

‘Help!,’ he wrote. ‘I’ve felt the worst I’ve ever felt in my life these last few days. Like covid x10. But not covid! Has anyone been in the same situation?

‘Please tell me it gets easier. Day 3 now.’

Danny is best known for playing Aaron in Emmerdale, a role he held between 2008 and 2021.

Aaron left the eponymous village after his boyfriend Ben Tucker (Simon Lennon) was murdered by Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu).

Danny, however, reprised his role for a short stint last year to mark Emmerdale’s 50th anniversary, as he arrived back in the village just in time for the chaotic storm, which claimed the life of Aaron’s sister Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele).

Aaron disowned mum Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter), who had been cheating on kind-hearted husband Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) with sleazy Al Chapman (Michael Wildman).

In real-life, Danny – who competed in and won I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2021 – married fiancee Steph in a beautiful ceremony in Cheshire in July last year, surrounded by friends and family.

The couple’s son Albert is thought to have played a big role in the wedding, which was attended by Emmerdale stars including Lucy Pargeter, Dominic Brunt and Jeff Hordley (Cain Dingle).
