Piers Morgan has given his future Good Morning Britain guests a firm warning after banning Les Dennis from ever appearing on the ITV breakfast show.
The TV host has vetoed Les from ever going on the show after Les said he would never do Pier’s Life Stories.
Former Coronation Street star Les hasn’t forgiven Piers for a cruel headline he wrote as newspaper editor after he appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2002.
Speaking on Richard Herring’s Leicester Square Theatre Podcast, Les said: "The headline was ‘Is this the most pathetic man in Britain?’
"I won’t go on Life Stories. I’ll on go on Good Morning Britain on a Thursday when Ben Shepherd’s there."
In response, Piers promptly banned Les from ever going on GMB again.
"Well, we have a new rule that anyone who says that isn’t allowed on at all. So Les is now banned from GMB," he told the Mirror.
He’s since tweeted that there’s a ‘new rule’ in place for any celebrities who are getting above their station.
"NEW RULE: Anyone who tries to get cheap publicity by saying they’ll only appear on GMB if I’m off, won’t be appearing on GMB at all," Piers fumed.
It’s an unusual move from Piers, who is well known for his own attention-seeking behaviour – and even vowed his New Year’s resolution would be to continue annoying everyone.
"My New Year’s Resolution for 2019 is to be just as annoying, argumentative & insufferably right about everything as I’ve been in 2018.," he tweeted.
"Zero apologies in advance to all whiny PC-crazed snowflake imbeciles who will be horrifically offended by absolutely everything I say or write."
