On Thursday night hundreds of famous faces from the TV world flooded to the red carpet at London's O2 for the 2021 National Television Awards, sponsored by OK!.

Hosted by Joel Dommett, the award show celebrated several categories including best factual programme, best comedy and best serial drama, among others.

Several stars have received nominations this year, including the likes of Kate Garraway, whose heartbreaking documentary Finding Derek has been nominated for the Authored Documentary award.

The fly-on-the-wall programme filmed every step of her husband Derek Draper's year-long battle with coronavirus following his hospitalisation with the respiratory illness in March 2020.

Other nominees in the category included Katie Price's Harvey And Me documentary, which followed Katie and her eldest son at a pivotal point in his life as they made the important decision of choosing a college which will develop his skills and monitor his complex needs.

Harvey was born partially blind, autistic and suffers from Prader-Willi syndrome as well as septo-optic dysplasia, which is a rare disorder that affects brain function hormones and vision.

Elsewhere, Ant and Dec were nominated for the Best Presenter award for the 20th year in a row, with other nominees including Alison Hammond, Holly Willoughby, Piers Morgan and Bradley Walsh.
