Gabby (Rosie Bentham) has been descending into a hot mess for a while now – even sinking as low as embarrassing herself by issuing Caleb (Will Ash) with a threat.
She’s made vain attempts at moving on – even joining a dating app, but when that ended up a damp squib, she turned her attentions back to destroying ex Nicky’s (Lewis Cope) life in revenge.
In fairness to the girl, her whole world has been ripped apart by lying Nicky, and unfortunately for her the rest of the world has just kept on turning. What’s worse is that the man who betrayed her has got his feet under the table in the village AND has a new squeeze to boot.
Having it rubbed in your face is likely to make anyone snap, and with one more straw added to the camel’s back, she does just that.

The icing on the cake is when she walks in on Nicky and Suni kissing. It’s been mere weeks since her dream wedding was called off and Nicky doesn’t even have the heart to hide the fact he’s fully moved on.
She does what she does best and turns to the bottle, and it brings out an even feistier and less sensible side of Gabby that sees her attempt to punch Nicky. As if she hasn’t suffered enough embarrassment, she misses, and hits Billy (Jay Kontzle) instead.
In a bid to save her from further humiliating herself, Billy leads her away and Nicky is left feeling as terrible as he should.
Good egg Billy gives Gabby a shoulder to cry on, but being gassed up and desperate for attention, Gabby reads it as a come-on and gives Billy a kiss. Billy quickly makes his exit and Gabby is left red faced not only then, but when she later sees him.
But kind-hearted Billy tells her he’ll keep her faux pas between them to spare her further blushes. Is it though? Gabby’s lingering stare suggests she’s not done just yet.
It’s obvious Billy is besotted with Dawn and wouldn’t do anything to hurt her, especially now she’s carrying his first biological child.
But Kim recently said Gabby always gets what she wants – were her words Kim’s words a terrible foreshadowing that Gabby is set to destroy the happiest relationship in the village?
