Netflix fans have their ‘minds blown’ by tense new mystery thriller Fractured’s killer twist

NETFLIX fans have had their "minds blown" by tense new mystery thriller Fractured’s killer twist.

The film sees Sam Worthington play Ray, a dad trying to figure out what happened to his wife and daughter after they mysteriously vanish while his little girl is receiving treatment at a hospital for a fractured arm.

The family had been travelling back from a terrible Thanksgiving when they stopped for a break and his daughter Peri fell after becoming scared by a stray dog.

At the hospital, Peri was taken for a scan on a suspected fractured arm, with Ray falling asleep while he waited, but when he wakes up the hospital has no record of his wife Jo and Peri ever being there.

So begins a tense search for his family, and things continue to escalate throughout the film, with the police being called and Ray stealing a gun.

The scenes had viewers gripped, but in the final moments, they were delivered a shock twist.

*Spoilers ahead about what happens at the end of Fractured*

Ray is seen interrupting his daughter's surgery, and rushing her and Jo out of the hospital in a wheelchair before placing them in the backseat of their car.

But as he drives away, a wide shot shows a teenage boy sat in the back instead, having clearly been ripped out of surgery.

Flashbacks then reveal that Ray had been hallucinating the whole time, and his daughter and wife had died at the scene of their pit stop, with Peri banging her head so hard in the fall she died instantly.

Meanwhile Jo shouted at Ray for his lack of parenting skills and so he pushed her, causing her to fall over and impale her head on some rebar, killing her too.

Ray then put the bodies in the boot of his car, where they remained throughout the entire film.

Viewers couldn't get over the killer twist in the tale, with one writing on Twitter: "#Fractured has literally blown my f***in mind! That ending! What the actual f***?? @NetflixUK @netflix #fracturednetflix."

Another added: "Everyone go to Netflix’s right now and watch the movie #Fractured your mind will be blown."

A third agreed, writing: "Absolutely mind blown!!! Still trying to wrap my head around #Fractured So good…I need time to process that ending!!"
