In recent episode of Neighbours, Elly (played by Jodi Anasta) revealed she was expecting a baby with Mark (Scott McGregor).
However, she later found out she wasn’t expecting and found solace in the arms of Shaun Watkins (Brad Moller).
Now, Elly really is expecting and it’s Shaun’s baby but will he keep her secret or ruin her marriage once again by revealing the truth to Mark?
Upcoming scenes will see Elly learn the truth about Shaun and his connection to Erinsborough.
Elly decides the best way to deal with the situation is by telling Mark that the baby is his.
But when she attends Finn Kelly’s (Rob Mills) court case in new episodes, she spots Shaun in the room.
Just as she is about to step up to give a statement, Elly catches his eye and runs out of the room.
Her reaction prompts to even more lies as Elly has to explain her actions to Mark.
Elly explains that she was simply scared about being so close to Finn and panicked when she saw him.
Later, Elly takes Shaun to the side to speak to him and begs him not to tell Mark about their night of passion.
Shaun is initially happy to protect Elly but when he works out her baby may be his, he starts to change his mind.
He insists Elly tell him the truth about her pregnancy, but she warns him to back off.
She asks for him to leave her alone so he doesn’t ruin her life and she can finally move on.
But it doesn’t look as though Shaun wants to give up his unborn child and tells Elly he needs time to think about her request.
Will Elly finally get the happy ending she wants or will Shaun break up her marriage to Mark?
Elsewhere, it seems Dipi Rebecchi (Sharon Johal) could be set for more heartache as she deals with a secret left by Sonya (Eve Morey).
Sonya went to visit Andrea Somers (Madeleine West) who had previously impersonated her husband Toadie’s (Ryna Maloney) deceased wife Dee Bliss.
Andrea was admitted to a psychiatric hospital but when visited by Sonya, revealed a man told her they’d met in Tasmani previously.
Andrea insisted she had never seen the man before so wondered if Dee could really be alive and well.
Dipi is in turmoil as to whether or not she should tell Toadie – could Dee be making a return?
Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
