The 31-year-old TV actress was a guest at the Stylist Live event in her home city at the weekend.
Taking to the stage to discuss her career and life before fame, Michelle stunned her followers by wearing an ensemble from cheap online store Very.co.uk.
Michelle revealed on Instagram that everything she was wearing was from the online store – from her check suit to her slogan t-shirt.
As the star attraction at the Stylist event, Michelle appeared to love all the attention she received from fans as she gamely cosied up to followers for a selfie.
“So lovely meeting you darlin,"she gushed to one fan who tweeted how excited the were to have met her.
Thankyou for coming all the way. I really appreciate it. Xxx,” the TV actress added.
And in a similar message she said: “So lovely meeting you darlin. see you again. Xxx,” to another who was lucky enough to snap a selfie with the ex-Corrie star.
Taking to the stage at the Trafford Centre proved to be a walk down memory lane for Michelle.
As she arrived at the shopping centre to see giant posters of herself hanging from the ceiling, Meech found herself contemplating her past.
“I worked in the Trafford Centre from when I was 15 years old to 20 in numerous different stores,” she wrote as she shared a photo of her portrait in the centre via Instagram.
“Fast forward a decade and this is hanging from the ceiling… Mind Blown,” the actress added.
During her chat with Stylist, Michelle appeared to hint she tries to avoid bad reviews and trolls.
“ If you let everything get to you all the time it will affect you and your life,” she is heard saying in footage uploaded online – although it is unclear what she was asked.
Michelle has had a busy year both on and off screen as her acting career continues and her fashion commitments hold strong.
She often collaborates with Very – which offers fans simple designs at bargain bin prices – and won praise from her loyal fanbase for her role in the BBC One drama Our Girl.
