Meghan Markle reveals what everyone has to do when they see her wedding dress

Meghan Markle ‘s Givenchy wedding dress was absolutely stunning, but it was her five-metre veil which really stole the show.

The Duchess surprised her husband Prince Harry by having wild flowers from each of the 53 countries in the Commonwealth embroidered into her silk veil.

The gown, veil and tiara will go on display at Windsor Castle and Holyrood Castle in Scotland as part of the A Royal Wedding : The Duke and Duchess of Sussex exhibition.

Ahead of the event, Meghan was reunited with her Clare Waight Keller dress for the first time for ITV’s Queen of the World documentary – and it’s clear to see how much she adores it.

Speaking on the show, she revealed what she wants everyone who goes to the exhibition to do when they see the veil.

She said: "No specific flower repeats itself. I know that was part of how they had put everything together.

"I hope that when people come they can find their flower for their country.

"Because we have Australia, India, there are so many different beautiful features."

She also explained why it was so important to her to have the Commonwealth represented in her wedding dress.

She said: "I think also with Harry’s role as Youth Ambassador for the Commonweath it was so important for us to have the spirit of inclusively in our wedding.

"I stuck in a couple of flowers that were important to me as well, personally. There is a California poppy in there which has nothing to do with the Commonwealth but it’s where I’m from.
