Meghan Markle sat down with Ellen DeGeneres on Thursday following her bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey earlier this year. The Duchess of Sussex opened up on returning home to California as well as her New York Times bestselling children’s book The Bench. The Ellen Show viewers were thrilled by Meghan’s appearance and praised the actress on Twitter.
The Duchess of Sussex joined Ellen on her US chat show and joined in on the usual mischief the presenter famously likes to subject her guests to.
As well as talking to the presenter about her wish to see paid parental leave in the US, Meghan performed in a comical skit.
The Ellen Show fans found Meghan’s appearance “hilarious” and took to Twitter to comment.

Meghan Markle’s interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show will air in the US on CBS at 8pm. It will be broadcast on ITV2 within a week of its US release.
