Masters of the Universe: Revelation made its debut on Netflix on July 23 and the series has gained a huge following. The animated superhero drama has already made its way into the streaming platform’s top 10 and only five episodes have aired so far. Express.co.uk has all you need to know about when fans can expect the second half of the series.

When is Masters of the Universe episode 6 out?

The animated series is a follow-on to the 80s series of the same name and it pays attention to unresolved storylines from the original show.

Picking up the characters’ journeys where they last left off, the show has become even more popular with fans.

Prince Adam, otherwise known as He-Man (played by Chris Wood) is once again the main protagonist.

Fans also welcomed back his arch-nemesis, Skeletor (Mark Hamill), along with a whole host of characters from the original series.

The first season has been split into two parts, with the first five episodes airing on July 23.

The episode titled The Forge at the Forest Forever marks the halfway point in the series.

The series overall will be made up of 10 episodes, so there are five more yet to air on the streaming platform.

At this moment in time, no official release date has been given, but all 10 episodes are believed to have been produced at the same time.

With this in mind, there is a high chance episode six and the remaining instalments will drop before the end of 2021.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, creator Kevin Smith said he had “seen part two”.

This suggests the final batch of episodes is ready to drop whenever Netflix gives the green light and Express.co.uk will update this story when more information is available.

Back in December 2019, Netflix announced this would be one of two Masters of the Universe projects to be developed.

A CGI animated series aimed at children was also on the cards, and hopefully, more information on this will come to light soon.

Masters of the Universe: Revelation was set up to act as the next episode of the original series.

At the same time, it is easy for new viewers to get on board despite having not seen the original.

An aftershow titled Revelations: The Masters of the Universe Revelation Aftershow aired alongside the series premiere.

The series has already received critical acclaim and holds a 95 per cent approval rating on the review website Rotten Tomatoes.

The star-studded voice cast were praised for their roles and critics on the site said it “retained the quirky charms of the original”.

There has been some criticism over the amount of screentime main character He-Man received.

But this has not stopped fans taken to social media to praise the series and call for the sixth episode.

One said: “I don’t know about some losers but Masters of the Universe: Revelation is f****** great and I can’t wait for part 2 to come along!

“Everyone knocked it out of the park, it just left me wanting more.”

Another said: “Masters of The Universe: Revelation (Part 1) is an amazing series, bringing new depth and complexity to such beloved characters as Adam, Teela, Orko, Man at Arms, and Evil Lynn.

“It’s a very engaging series, which I really loved. Bring on Part 2!”

A third added: “Just finished watching Part 1 of Masters of the Universe: Revelation. So damn sick. Well done to the cast and crew, can’t wait for Part 2.”
