Masterchef’s Gregg Wallace heads to dinner with wife after refusing to eat on show | The Sun

MASTERCHEF food critic Gregg Wallace headed to dinner with rarely-seen stunning wife.

The pair were spotted at a plush looking restaurant after the TV personality refused to eat on the hit cooking show.

Gregg, 58, took to his Instagram stories where he posted a picture of his wife Anne-Marie Sterpini, looking at a menu at a fancy restaurant.

He captioned the image: "Wot we avvin luv?" as she was spotted gazing down at the choice presented before her.

This comes after he refused to eat one contestant's dish during the opening episode of the latest series.

The BBC One show returned with Gregg Wallace and John Torode at the helm to offer up their advice and expertise to the nine new hopeful chefs.

Put under time pressure, Woei was in a race to get his food ready to be served up in just five minutes.

Amongst a tomato and chilli sauce and a bed of blue basmati rice and tempura curry leaves were two pieces of marinated chicken.

Gregg took a look at the dish and while he praised Woei for his 'light and fluffy' rice, he pointed out he was unimpressed by his undercooked chicken.

Admitting he felt "uncomfortable", Gregg explained: "I have issues with this chicken. there's a pink tinge on the insides of my bits of chicken, which is putting me off.
