Cher Lloyd hasn't appeared on TV for many years, but during her X Factor stint fans adored the controversial star.

With a distinctive voice and bubbly personality, fans are starting to spot the similarities between Cher and Panda on The Masked Singer UK – and some are convinced that the clues are pointing directly at Cher.

Cher, who has had a complete transformation since her X Factor days and now boasts a low-key life with her family, has been pinpointed as one of the potential celebrities on the show.

One key clue for Panda's identity saw them next to a podium which said Talent Show Musical Night, leaving fans adamant that the celebrity has something to do with a singing competition.

As more hints came forward, viewers began wondering if Panda was Cher Lloyd due to her distinct voice and X Factor experience.

One user even wrote: "Cher Lloyd – she was on a talent show and was at the panda rock out in 2012."

Another wrote: "I think Panda could be Cher Lloyd."

While a third added: "Panda is Cher Lloyd, I can hear her."

Cher has appeared on a number of TV shows since her stint on The X Factor, including Make Your Mark: Shake It Up Dance Off, Celebrity Juice and Big Time Rush.

Aside from Cher, the other two most popular guesses for the identity of Panda include Alesha Dixon and Natalie Imbruglia.

One major clue which led fans to Alesha Dixon was the name of her panda print clothing range with George at Asda, let alone her singing career and, of course, her time on the judging panel of Talent Show Britain's Got Talent.

Another hint from Panda was that they "love an adventure" and said that "being out and about in the wild is like second nature to them" – which, if it is Alesha, could be a nod to when she climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania for Comic Relief in 2009.

As for Natalie, one user on a Reddit thread said they were her "biggest fan" and knew it was her from "the first note".

They added: "The hammer badge may also link to her single 'Build It Better' which came out last year. I also just know the voice really well especially on some of the vowel notes."

So far, viewers have only been given a handful of clues and need to wait until next weekend to hear even more – but will it just solidify theories or tear them apart?
