Mark Wright shares sweet birthday tribute to dad on 65th birthday

MARK Wright shared a sweet tribute to his dad Mark Snr on his 65th birthday.

The 34-year-old posted a snap of them together, Mark with his arm around his dad, as they smiled at the camera.

He wrote: "Happy birthday to the greatest man there is and ever was. What a man to follow in every way. Love ya dad xx."

Marks friends and fans also left wishes for his dad, with Denise Van Outen writing: "Happy birthday @bigmarkwright 😘."

Footballer John Terry also wrote: "Happy Birthday @bigmarkwright 💙."

It's been a tough year for Mark Snr, after he and wife Carol, 61, revealed on New Year's Day that they'd been struck down with Covid.

Weeks later Mark spoke to listeners during his Heart radio show, urging them to follow the restrictions in place at the time and admitted Mark Snr had only just left the hospital.

He said: "I want my life back. I want my family to be well again. I don’t want my family to have to worry anymore. I don’t want you to worry anymore.
