At the end of Lucifer season four, Lucifer (played by Tom Ellis) returned to rule over hell.

After abandoning his post for life on Earth, he will undoubtedly meet with hostility upon his return.

Throughout season four, it was suggested there was an impending demon uprising in hell and many fans believe this uprising will be led by Lilith.

In Lucifer, Lilith is the first wide of Adam and mother of the demon, Mazikeen (Lesley-Ann Brandt).

One Reddit user, IceMetalPunk wrote: “Lucifer will meet Kinley in hell, and decide he deserves the worst possible torture. So who better to deal it out than Maze?

“So he comes up to earth planning on returning immediately with Maze, only to find that things on Earth are in peril.

“Some major threat (probably Lilith) has been unleashed, and now Lucifer must choose between bringing Maze back to hell to torture Kinley, or staying on Earth to help fight Lilith. “

They added: “The series will end with a major battle as the demons who do ultimately return discover Lilith, their queen, is on Earth, and she commands them in battle.”

Earlier this year, it was confirmed Dennis Haysbert would star in Lucifer season five.

Haysbert will be taking on the role of Lucifer Morningstar’s father, God.

After Lucifer rebelled against his father in heaven, he was cast out and appointed to rule over hell as punishment.

In Lucifer, God and his son have never come face to face, so it is highly possible that God could not be arriving with Good intentions.

One Reddit user, Kara-Frost said: “Lucifer and God need to meet and have a talk. Lucifer needs to get all of his emotions towards his father out and confront him face to face.”

Another fan commented: “And God needs to apologize to Lucifer for his manipulations (or rather, for not ever giving Lucifer an explanation for those manipulations). He owes him at least that.”

Inbar Lavi will reprise her role as Eve, Lucifer’s first love in Lucifer season five.

At the end of season four, Eve left Lucifer and her new love interest, Maze (Lesley Ann-Brandt) behind in LA, to embark on a journey of self-discovery.

Showrunners Idly Modrovich and Joe Henderson have confirmed Lavi’s return but just exactly how she will return remains unknown.

Eve appeared to leave on good terms, so it seems unusual that she would return as a villain.

However, on Lucifer anything is possible and some fans suspect her former husband Adam could appear on Earth.

Reddit user Emica12 said: “I would love to see Adam’s point of view. All we see Eve’s perspective and she could be exaggerating about him.

“Or he to could just love Lucifer after in the bible Eve did get Adam to taste “the forbidden fruit” 😉 then again if Eve was whiney about wanting Lucifer in heaven I can’t blame him for wanting Lilith back the woman who had the decency to leave him before actually cheating on him.”

Uriel (Michael Imperioli) is an angel and one of Lucifer Morningstar’s siblings.

In season two of Lucifer, Uriel ventured to Earth in an attempt to eradicate his mother The Goddess (Tricia Helfer) from existence by using Azrael’s Blade.

On earth, Uriel was arrogant and murderous and had no issues about killing his own mother or trying to take Chloe Decker’s (Lauren German) life.

However, the plan failed entirely when Lucifer killed him with the blade instead in episode five of season two titled Weaponizer.

There is no doubt that Uriel ended up in hell and there is the possibility he will want to seek revenge.
