Fans who’ve been watching Little People, Big World since the beginning are quite familiar with Amy and Matt Roloff’s legacy. And while the couple began their journey on reality TV happily married and raising their four children together, they announced their separation several years back. Matt and Amy have managed to move forward with new relationships and plans for the future, but they’ve had many stumbling blocks along the way. And it seems certain aspects of their divorce are still painful for Amy to deal with.
Amy and Matt may not get along, but Matt’s proving that the rest of the Roloffs are still as tight as ever in a recent Instagram post. Here’s what he posted.
Amy Roloff made seriously negative claims about Matt in her recent memoir
The recent season of LPBW had Matt and Amy not seeing eye to eye when it came to the fate of Roloff Farms. While the divorced couple both managed to live on the same property for years post-separation, Amy divulged just how difficult the divorce really was for her on the show. And in her recent memoir, A Little Me, she went even further with the details.
According to Amy, Matt and his current girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, were seeing each other even before the divorce. Chandler was a Roloff Farms employee and has seemingly known Amy for over a decade. And while Amy doesn’t call Chandler out by name in her book, she does note that Matt was exchanging inappropriate messages with an employee during their marriage. “I saw messages, pictures, and other things that should not have been shared between people who just worked together and were still married to other people. I was devastated,” Amy wrote.

Fans have remained totally divided on the Matt and Amy divorce controversy. While many do still support Matt and Chandler, many others have taken Amy’s side since the release of her memoir and the season finale of the show. And some fans have even taken to Instagram to express how disappointed they are in Chandler. “You’ve always been my favorite Matt but I would tell Caryn to hold her jetts. This should be between you and Amy only. 28 years of marriage justifies that. Chris is staying out of it… Caryn should too [sic],” one fan commented on Matt’s Instagram.
As far as Matt’s relationship with his kids is concerned, fans may have also wondered if that was compromised after what Amy wrote in her memoir, too. None of Amy’s kids promoted her book on social media, however. And Chandler has also made friendly comments on Audrey and Tori Roloff’s Instagrams, which may have proved she has a good relationship with both of them still, too. Even so, we can’t forget that Zach and Jacob Roloff seemed upset by their parents’ divorce.

So, is there tension between the Roloff kids and Matt after all of the recent controversy? It seems everything’s actually OK between family members. Matt posted a video to Instagram showing Zach and Tori with their son, Jackson, as well as Jeremy and Audrey with their daughter, Ember, all hanging out together on the farm. Not only that, but Caryn also makes an appearance in the video — and everyone is laughing and enjoying each other’s company.
While fans normally bombard Matt with their feelings regarding his relationship with Chandler or his divorce from Amy, his followers seemed to show him a lot of support on this post, too. “How lovely! Family fun is so important,” one fan commented. And another wrote, “That is a good evening hanging out with everyone. Those make these summer days and nights so fun.”
We’re hoping all of the Roloffs are doing well no matter what family drama comes their way. And we can’t to see what’s in store for all of them in the future.
