She wrote on October 19: “Last night Sam told me he was going to the press so I just want to make clear ahead of any interviews he does that there was NO third party involved in the break up between him and I.

“Sam thinks I cheated because he went through my phone, read and took screen shots of banter I had between me and my best mate which he’s now threatening to sell to the press. The banter was about my ex boyfriend from which he’s then put two and two together and come up with an imaginary scenario.”

Comments have been disabled on Georgia’s upload, whilst Digital Spy has reached out to Sam’s reps for his side of the story.

Meanwhile, fellow islander Dr Alex George has shared a sneaky social media post which appeared to be in response to Sam and Georgia’s break up.

“Watching all the Love Island couples break up on the outside when you left the villa single,” he tweeted alongside a snap of himself.

He then followed up his initial message with the infamous Kermit sipping tea GIF.

However, he’s since received some backlash from a set of his Love Island 2018 castmates, including Samira Mighty who replied: “You’ve got well sassy recently.”

2018 islander couples have been dropping like flies recently, with Laura Anderson and Paul Knops also recently calling it quits.
