Love Island's Georgia responds to rumours she quit the villa WhatsApp group

It’s well known how much Georgia values loyalty, so we were all surprised to hear rumours she’d quit the Love Island contestants’ WhatsApp group this week.

But Georgia’s explained our worries away in a response made on Love Island: The Reunion on Sunday (August 5).

When asked about the reports by host Caroline Flack, she explained: “So, there were two Georgias in the bloody WhatsApp group weren’t there? Then Adam removed us didn’t he!”

“Then obviously it was me that left the WhatsApp group because it would’ve been wouldn’t it!” she added sassily.

Then Caroline butted in: “Because you’re loyal!”

“So I don’t leave Whatsapp groups do I? I get removed!” responded Georgia.

So, a simple mix-up then?

We’re not so sure…

Georgia memorably clashed with many of the other Islanders during her time in the villa, but there was particular tension between her and Megan Barton Hanson. Megan even referred to her as “a fake bitch” on the show.

Earlier in the programme, Georgia was forced to listen to Megan explain away reports she didn’t like her.

“There’s been some stuff in the press about you not liking Georgia,” began Caroline. “Can you clear that up for us?”

“It’s not that I didn’t like her. I just didn’t get it,” revealed Megan frankly.

“I’m very introverted and Georgia’s very extroverted and everything’s like, ‘Oh my god! Y’alright? How you doing?’ and everything’s massive. I’ve never been around that kind of person before.”

Harsh words, right?

Georgia didn’t take it personally though.

In her trademark sarcastic tone, she said: “That’s okay babes. Don’t you worry about it darling!”

Sorry Georgia, but we don’t believe you!

“You too are so different,” laughed Caroline.

Now that we believe!
