Love Island’s Anna Vakili takes swipe at ‘f*** boy’ Toby in fiery first column

Hey Guys! I'm Anna Vakili for those that don't know me I was a contestant on the 2018 season of Love Island.

I was part of the original line up going in and stayed there for pretty much most of the season.

I had always been a Love Island fan before but now looking back I honestly had no idea what I was going into.

The experience is nothing like you think it will be but to tell you the truth it’s even BETTER than I thought!

As you will all know, I didn’t manage to find love, but I definitely learned a lot about myself. I opened up, embraced the experience and 100% tried and kept it real in there.

I’m super excited for the new season of Love Island and am thinking of the contestants in isolation with their chaperone – just waiting was probably one of the scariest, nerve racking times of my life.

I didn't have a clue what was around the corner. For me, it was waiting to go in, thinking about how the other islanders will be like and thinking about the different scenarios that could occur.

I had a thousand questions running through my mind. What if no one fancies you? What if the other girls are bitchy? What if you are the first to get kicked out?

It was a whole rollercoaster of emotions! I remember at one point just dying to know what my release pictures looked like; luckily for me now I didn't – I absolutely hated them ha!

At one point, I had my chaperone's iPad as I was watching Keeping up with the Kardashians on repeat.

When she popped out for two minutes I remember going onto Google, hands shaking and almost typing out my name just to see what came out but I literally couldn't do it.

I panicked so much I put down the iPad straight away and came off it. It was such a thrill of excitement and sheer anticipation.

I know we haven't seen much of the new islanders yet, but looking at the original line up going in now I certainly have my favourite girls!

Shannon and Kaz are both absolutely gorgeous and have bad b**** energy, and from first impressions I feel like we would have definitely been friends if we were in the villa together.

If I'm honest, brutal as it sounds none of the guys are "my type on paper" but that's not to say I don't have my favourites there too!

Brad or Aaron seem like really genuine guys who are going in for love.

However – enter Toby! He is giving major f*** boy vibes. He said he likes "casual sex until a girl wants to take it to the next step". So why are you on LOVE Island Toby? Check into CASUAL SEX Island if that's what you’re after!

I reckon Liberty and Chloe will get the most attention from the guys as Love Island loves putting guys in there that want a blonde girl with blue eyes!

Looking back, me and Yewande used to always talk about how unattractive we felt at the start which now seems so silly.

Realistically, looking back now the whole experience has made me even more confident despite those original feelings.

I wish I could go back and talk to that Anna that shed a few tears in the toilet when the cameras weren’t filming.

You just have to realise you can’t be everyone's type and just because they have thrown a few guys in there that all like a similar look that doesn't mean you ain't poppin' girl!

Another girl I'm really liking so far has to be Sharon. She’s got something about her for sure; she’s smart but also super sexy!

I'm all about breaking stereotypes and always have been with my own experience showing that – being a pharmacist but also a reality star just goes to show women and men can have both brains and beauty.

I do think Chloe is going to be a bit of a troublemaker and man stealer whereas Jake will just be going around asking to suck on all the girls' toes!

I think we can safely say this season is going to be fun to watch.

I’m obviously super excited to see who will couple up with who, and honestly – I'm hoping this season will be fiery, explosive and not short of a bit of drama. Because if I';m honest, the winter one after our season was a bit dry. It 100% needed spicing up a little.

I hope people are going in there for genuine reasons and when it's all over (tear!) We do get some genuine couples as a result.

I feel like the only genuine couple from our season was Molly and Tommy and look at them now – they are literally the dream!

I think it's so beautiful when we get couples that go on to stay together and even end up getting married and having kids – all from meeting on a TV show. Who would have thought it hey? Like a modern day fairytale!

Unfortunately I didn't find my Prince Charming in Love Island but I did find some long lasting best friends and that's love too I guess right?
