In an old video from Adam's YouTube page, the 21-year-old lay on the sofa with his now ex-girlfriend as they answered questions from fans.
One said: "Is it challenging to always be in the public eye?"
While Zara opened up about her struggle with "negativity and hate", Adam revealed his annoyance about being filmed while drunk on a night out.
He said: "It is challenging because I know that on a Saturday night with my friends I probably shouldn't have been absolutely mortal in McDonald's at 5am.
"That is less than ideal when people are videoing it.
"However, I'm not really bothered because once in a while having a blowout like that is normal.
"We've all be there. But the good and the bad comes with it."
Zara looked unimpressed as her boyfriend spoke about his messy night out with pals.
Looking at her for approval about his recent "blowout", the 22-year-old just shrugged and murmured "yeah…"
Things got even more awkward when Adam was asked: "Does Zara get upset when she sees you liking other girls' photos?"
He flashed a cheeky grin and denied he had done anything wrong.
"I don't think I like girls' photos who aren't celebs," he said.
But annoyed Zara replied: "Yeah, but that question is interesting…"
She then raised her voice and started pointing at Adam saying: "That means people are picking up on it."
The video was then edited to cut out the rest of their conversation on the issue.
Adam was left out of pocket this week when Zara cancelled their luxurious Maldives holiday he bought her for Christmas.
The couple's break up is thought to have "cost him thousands" as it happened just a week before they were meant to jet out the romantic island.
They had been suffering "ups and downs" since moving in together, but their seven-month relationship came to an end after Adam’s wild partying with Instagram model Brittany Archer while out with Love Island pals Sam Bird and Jack Fincham.
