LOVE Island's Adam Collard has his out at Rosie Williams after she calls him a "player" and believes his bad behaviour towards her has helped his career.
Speaking on Channel 5's Jeremy Vine show about the pressures of reality TV shows, Rosie, 26, took a swipe at Adam, 22, who humiliated her by dumping her in favour of Zara McDermott on last year's Love Island.
"I went through a terrible time with the person I was coupled with [Adam]," the Welsh lawyer told the host.
"I felt he got favoured following my departure, I feel he had lots more exposure and went to more events, and was sort of praised for his behaviour towards me.
"Not by the public, because they seemed to side with me, but when it came to work. He seemed to have much more work for being this player so it was accepting his behaviour towards me."
After seeing the clip being shared on Twitter, though, Adam took offence.
"Yawn. I’ve had longer squat sessions than that 'relationship'," the personal trainer wrote alongside the clip.
"Know the difference between a real relationship and being coupled up on Love Island.
"Probably praised because I chose the girl I actually liked and lasted longer than anyone of the other couples. #Player."
Adam dumped Rosie for Zara in emotional scenes, leaving Rosie dumped from the villa.
Adam had originally caused tension by stealing Kendall-Rae Knight from Niall Aslam – before coupling up with Rosie and leaving Kendall dumped from the villa.
But he proved it was the real deal with Zara for a while, as he opted to leave to be with her after she had been voted out.
They split in February after eight months together and he now seems to be dating Spanish model and Fashion Business graduate, Andrea Belver.
The duo are yet to confirm their romance, though Andrea has appeared on Adam’s Instagram twice, with him recently writing alongside a picture of them on holiday together: "Summer, what you sayin'?".
After receiving floods of backlash, Adam later added: "Guys, look at all the f***s I give."
After leaving Love Island, Rosie went on to date Tottenham Hotspur youngster Harry Winks, 22 – who also dated Zara.
Rosie has now found love with businessman Wayne Davies, while Zara has just called time on her brief romance with singer Olly Murs.
