The daughter of Eastenders actor Danny Dyer looked sad as she dried tears from underneath her sunglasses prompting speculation there might be trouble in paradise with her boyfriend Jack Fincham.
But speaking on Love Island: The Reunion, Dani cleared up the rumours.
She set the record straight when quizzed by host Caroline Flack and explained her tears were for her pal Samira.
She said: "I was talking to Samira."
She added: "This is when Frankie told Samira he loved her. And I was going Oh my God. I wasn't even crying. I use expressions. It was quite scary because someone was videoing me. I don't like that."
Jack backed Dani up and said: "She was happy crying."
He shrugged: "I was blamed because I wasn't there."
Meanwhile on the show Love Island viewers were convinced Dr Alex George just admitted to being a virgin.
The former A&E doctor was left blushing when show voiceover comic Iain Stirling ribbed him after he said he had never done the doggy style sexual position.
Viewers took to social media to question Alex's story.
One wrote: "Has Alex just admitted to being a virgin ! #LoveIslandReunion"
A second said: "HOW has Alex never done doggy but man claims to have had a f***ing threesome? Stop lying, you absolute virgin #LoveIsland."
