The 26-year-old reality star is currently enjoying a festive break in Thailand with her boyfriend Myles Stephenson, 27.
Documenting her terrifying ordeal through her Instagram Stories, the Liverpudlian posted a number of videos and pics revealing how the Rak-Su singer's quick thinking saved her life.
In one snap, she drew an arrow towards a cup of pineapple juice and wrote: "This little s*** here caused my tongue to go numb and swell and then my throat closed up."
She then pointed towards a shirtless Myles and said: "Not to fear though, this little s*** got me to an emergency room quick" alongside a heart emoji.
In her first clip, the ITV2 star could be seen lying in a hospital bed with what a drip in her arm, revealing in the next clip that she found out that she is "quite possibly allergic to pineapples".
She continued: "I took an antihistamine this morning for my mosquito bites and I swear I think I might have choked to death if that wasn't already in my system.
"Thanks mum for packing them."
Gabby then posted a loved-up snap with her beau with the caption: "The day I didn't die @mylesraksu."
The reality star got serious with Myles after her stint in Celebrity Big Brother this summer.
Smitten Myles, whose band Rak-Su won The X Factor in 2017, told the Daily Star: "We are both really happy. I've moved in to hers and have marked my territory.
"We are loved-up and are in the honeymoon period at the moment so she can't get rid of me.
Adding: "I've got my own wardrobe space and one corner of the room where I'm allowed to put my bag and trainers but I get told off if they spread out of there.
"It's amazing to just be able to go home and spend time together."
Gabby moved on with the X Factor hunk after being cheated on by ex-Marcel Somerville who she met in Love Island last year.
She's said she feels able to trust Myles "100 per cent", despite how her previous relationship ended.
